Island Marine Electric is owned and operated by Greg Woods, a long time Florida resident with more than 25 years experience in the marine electric and electronics business. Greg is a master electrician and a C-Met/FCC licensed electronics technician. Island Marine Electric is a full service organization ready and able to service your current equipment, both electrical and electronic. We also offer new equipment, which we will install and maintain. Our service and installation crew, led by Barry Baadte, can install a VHF and Depth Sounder aboard your tender or a sophisticated computer system for Navigation and ships service aboard your 300+ foot yacht. Depth sounders to satellite Communications, 110 VAC wall outlets to Frequency Converters, power or sail, NO JOB is too large or too small for us to handle. We also build custom Electrical Panels and Distribution Panels, Shore cords, TV and Phone cables, etc. Using CAD technology for large projects insures precise records for our files and the vessels files, as well as exact layouts of panels and equipment. Island Marine Electric will go anywhere in the United States, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.
