Your Oriental Arts Treasure Finders We have been collectors of fine Chinese porcelains of all types for decades, with a specific focus on Chinese porcelains and antique roof tiles. We recently discovered these exceptional artistic reproductions. They are superb examples of this genre, and will add a stunning accent to any decor. They are beautifully executed by the Chinese artist, J. T. Ho, and reproduce some of the classic figures of the Chinese Zodiac and mythology. We have both a retailing, and maritime and background which enables us to search out hard-to-find items of an unusual nature which we make available at fair and honest prices backed by our reputation for fair dealing. As collectors of fine arts, and antiques, we have an eye for beauty and value, and enjoy passing our knowledge on to our customers. Our resources are agents located all over the world, but most of our items come from Asia where the majority of our focus lay. We have brokers who travel the highways and byways of Europe and the Orient. They search all over for exclusively different items, and supervise the packing and forwarding. Freight is a major component of our costs, as it would be for anyone bringing things in from overseas. Some items are authentic antiques and others fine reproductions. Anything we offer has a statement of authenticity or provenance which is backed by our guarantee of your satisfaction on arrival.
ANTIQUE CHINESE NAVIGATION LIGHTS Presented are a matched pair of old kerosene fuelled chimney lamp navigation lights that are large enough to have been used on an ocean going vessel. They are authentic, top opening, running lights manufactured by Tung Woo of Hong Kong whose products were used on ships worldwide since the 19th Century. They are likely from the 1920's or earlier, and should not be confused with a reproduction or replica. Also compare sizes. Many similar looking lights are appreciably smaller and were used on riverboats.
UNUSUAL DECORATOR ACCENT ITEMS Presented are authentic hand blown old Japanese glass fishing floats and Asain jugs, all in excellent condition. They are without chips, scratches or sand blemishes. These are the largest floats you will see anywhere, except from us. The diameters are either 16 or 17" with a maximum GIANT 53" circumference. Weight is an unbelievable 21 to 26 lbs. Because of their size, they are flat bottomed and blown in two pieces which are then fused together with molten glass making a small ridge. The glass shows no discernable wear. The age and use is shown in the netting. There are no visible chips, cracks or scratches on it. The maker's Anchor Seal is in relief and is sharp and clearly defined. The indistinct swirl pattern and numerous small bubbles clearly reflects the art of Japanese hand-blown glass.
SHIP BUILDERS PLATES Every builder's plate we offer is authentic. We guarantee it or your money back. No questions asked. Unfortunately, shipping and handling is not included in this offer. These exclusive plates are from the world's ship wrecking yards and are the last vestige of the these fine vessels. The supply is rapidly declining. For those with an interest in seafaring, the collection of shipbuilder's plates is a consuming passion. It takes a lot of time to do the research, but the rewards of owning a builder's plate for a vessel whose history has been documented by you is a very satisfying experience in deed. Some say, collecting plates is a pretty esoteric hobby, with maybe just 15-20 real serious collectors in the world, most of whom have a direct connection with the maritime industry or naval service. Other collectors of nautica, are joing this exclusive group so that the demand and prices are likely to sky rocket.
OUR UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE We guarantee our products to be exactly as represented. If upon receipt, you are not completely satisfied, they may be returned for a full refund, exclusive of shipping and handling charges. Just email us for a Return Merchandise Authorization, and return it in its original condition and packaging within four days, and insured for its full value.
