For years Carlos dedicated himself to painting marine life and birds. One day, Carlos photographed a boy swimming under water in a swimming pool and decided to feature him in a painting with dolphins. The painting was given as a present to the boy's father. Eventually, Carlos was told that the painting had meant a great deal to the boy. For the first time, Carlos began to see that being able to paint people was a gift from God.

When I look at someone's face, I see God's handiwork -a powerful storm of form and color that reveals HIS glory. When I paint that face, a testimony is given.
