There is an incredible camaraderie engendered by being one of those who brave the elements of the oceans in small boats. SSCA members contribute an unbelievable amount of their time, energy and knowledge to the association. Each new member signs a pledge to maintain a clean wake as defined by the traditions of the organization. All SSCA members vow to respect their environment and peoples that they meet so that any cruiser who follows in their wake is warmly welcomed.
