EXTREME LENS TECHNOLOGY polycarbonate optics are made from the same grade polycarbonate used in bulletproof glass. They are 50 times more impact resistant and less than 1/3 the weight of all glass lenses. All lenses exceeded stringent ANSI Z87 standards for safety eyewear impact resistance for the highest level of protection.
SCHnauZER's (tm) polycarbonate lens formula intrinsically blocks 100% of harmful UVA, UVB, and UVC rays (to over 400 nanometers of solar wavelength) without coatings or films, so protection will not fade, scratch or wear-off with time. Hard surface coatings that resist scratches, smudges and dust are applied to both sides of the lens, normally requiring only water and light rubbing with bare fingers to clean.
