Sea Experience Snorkeling and Glass Bottom Boat Ride

All Located at Bahia Mar Yachting Center Discover the underwater world of south Florida. Swim through the clear waters of the warm Atlantic and experience the colorful fish and marine life that lie beneath the surface. And if you don't want to get wet you can enjoy the view from aboard the glass bottom boat!
Snorkel Trips Daily! Departures at 10:15am & 2:15pm. Snorkeling from the SEA EXPERIENCE is an adventure that will never be forgotten. Once we arrive at our favorite coral reef you will see many beautiful tropical fish. To name just a few, you might see French, Grey and Queen Angelfish, Blue Parrotfish, Trumpetfish, and many others. Our favorite snorkeling spot, named the Fort Lauderdale Twin Ledges, is located about a half mile off of Fort Lauderdale beach in 10 to 20 ft. of water. The water temperature is warm all year-round making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. For first time snorkelers the crew is more than happy to provide lessons and to make it a pleasurable experience for all. Beginners are Welcome!
Even sightseers will enjoy this trip! As the SEA EXPERIENCE departs from the Bahia Mar marina we travel through the beautiful intercoastal waterways of Fort Lauderdale. Often referred to as the "Venice of America", the intercoastal waterways of South Florida offers many spectacular sites. While we travel to our favorite snorkeling destination we'll see many extravagant homes and yachts. And before we enter the open water we make our way through the world famous Port Everglades, home to many prestigious cruise lines including Carnival, Celebrity, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and many more. Finally, once we arrive at our snorkeling destination, the glass bottom provides a window into the underwater world. The SEA EXPERIENCE is a Coast Guard certified glass bottom boat. It has a seating capacity for 40 passengers. There is plenty of shade on board and for those wishing to soak up the Florida sun there is open sun seating on the bow of the boat. Beverages are sold from our ice cooler and there is also a fresh water drinking cooler. Near the diving platform we have a fresh water shower to rinse yourself off after you return from snorkeling. Located on the bottom deck is a private marine head (restroom for you landlubbers). All snorkeling equipment is included. Our favorite snorkeling location is called the Fort Lauderdale Twin Ledges. Located at the stern, there are four 3'x4' glass windows to view the reef and marine life. The ledge has many patches of coral and is the home to various marine creatures. The top of the ledge is in about 10ft of water which is easily viewable from onborad the boat as well as from the surface while snorkeling. All snorkeling equipment is included. All you need to do is bring your bathing suit and towel!
