For over 20 years we have manufactured and worked around the world installing teak decks, cap-rails, teak gratings and custom interior floors on many of the world's most famous yachts, super-yachts and mega-yachts. Our wealth of experience enables us to thoroughly analyze each project and provide consulting, specifications and advice to marinas, boatyards, naval architects, surveyors and captains on the best approach for realizing high quality, long lasting custom pre-assembled and pre-trimmed teak decks and interior floors. Cruise Ship Services TEAKDECKING SYSTEMS® custom-manufactures teak decking and wood flooring for the ship and boatbuilding industry in our 80,000 sq.ft factory. Our modular deck panels are engineered specifically for the shipbuilding industry. They meet the most stringent demands of shipyards worldwide for new buildings as well as refurbishings. The decks are made of solid teak profiles, vulcanized to a bearer under vacuum with oxime silicone rubber. Panels are delivered caulked and planed. If decks are longer than 40 feet, they are delivered in sections with patterned joints. TDS System is based on gluing techniques. Our interior panels, bar areas, dance floors, etc. are for the discriminating designer and owner. Joints in the decks can be designed to various patterns. We use all kinds of hard woods. Seams can be filled with other woodstrips or dyed epoxy. Special woods for high-traffic areas are available. We also make custom inlay work, cap rails, steps, etc. TDS installs the decks onboard using specialized techniques, including underlayment. Contracting service with riding crews for installation and refurbishing. TDS provides maintenance programs and products. We train your crew how to efficiently use TDS products and properly maintain the teak/wooden decking such as repair, recaulk, refinish, sealing and cleaning. Pre-manufactured Wooden Floor System TEAKDECKING SYSTEMS® pre-manufactured wooden floor system is used for building all types of interior floors and specially designed for the marine environment. Our process provides the customer with a pre-trimmed floor that is complete and ready for final fitting and installation. The floor arrives divided into handable sections. Because the floor is manufactured off-site and can be speedily installed, minimal interruption of traffic flow through the area will be achieved. Interior wooden floors are custom built to the customer's specifications. Our design team works closely with designers and architects to ensure that the customers 'dream' concept is realised. All of our floors are assembled from solid ˝" wood planks. High quality materials, from veneer grade woods to epoxy adhesives, are used during assembly to assure that the floor will retain its beauty throughout its life.
Interior Flooring Designs TEAKDECKING SYSTEMS® has access to a wide variety of wood species from which we create your custom floors. From the well known such as teak, oak, ash, mahogany, cherry, etc. to exotics such as paulope, purpleheart, pyinkado and other; we create patterns and designs that border on artworks. In addition, we often employ colored resins, metals, tiles and marble to enhance the beauty of the surrounding wood. During the past twenty years, numerous specially designed interior floors have been built and installed on luxury yachts and cruise liners worldwide. SIS440 Products for Caulking Applications TDS Teak Caulking is a one-part, paste-like oxime cure system which when exposed to moisture in the air reacts to form a tough, flexible solid rubber compound. TDS Teak Caulking is a thixotropic material that does not sag during cure, and, when cured, has excellent temperature stability and chemical resistance. Because the sealant is neutral cure, it is non-corrosive to all substrates. TDS Teak Caulking is available in black or white. TDS Fitting Epoxy TDS Fitting Epoxy (FE180A) is a custom blend of high quality epoxy resins, activators and additives formulated for outstanding adhesion to common marine substrates such as fiberglass, wood, aluminum and steel. Developed as a 'tough' adhesive capable of enduring the flexing yachts undergo at sea, FE180A has special additives that enhance internal strength, bond strength and viscosity control under a variety of adverse environmental conditions. TDS Fitting Epoxy is also D.O.T. (US Dept. Of Transportation) certified to be non-corrosive and is designed not to harm the environment. TEAKDECKING SYSTEMS® can also custom blend epoxy adhesives to fit special requirements such as extended pot life or low temperature cure. Teak Cleaner Powder Teak Cleaner Powder represents the state-of-the-art in cleaning ready-to-use formulations to clean your teak or other surfaces. Teak Cleaner Powder can be mixed in various concentrations to be effective for both light and heavy cleaning. Teak Cleaner Powder is designed to be gentle to your teak, caulking, hardware or paint. Teak Cleaner Powder is water-based, contains no acids or caustic soda and is designed not to harm the environment. Designed for weekly to bi-weekly cleanings. Teak Cleaner Liquid Teak Cleaner Liquid represents the state-of-the-art in cleaning ready-to-use formulations to clean your teak or other surfaces. Teak Cleaner Liquid can be mixed in various concentrations to be effective for both light and heavy cleaning in a ready-to-use form. Teak Cleaner Liquid is designed to be gentle to your teak, caulking, hardware or paint. Teak Cleaner Liquid is water-based, contains no acids and is designed not to harm the environment. Designed for deeper cleaning that might be necessary on a monthly basis.
