WATERPROOF CHARTS

Designed for recreational boaters, fishermen and divers. Waterproof Charts are beautifully printed on synthetic paper. For Use on deck in any weather rain or spray! Accurate, used by Coast Guard and Navy, simple to use with GPS. Foldable and easy to hold and store Waterproof Charts are so tear resistant you can't ruin them. Printed on both sides so they save you money!

FOUR TYPES OF CHARTS TO CHOOSE FROM.

STANDARD NAVIGATION CHARTS - Identified by the Red Title Block. Developed in 1984, ISS was the first company to successfully reproduce government paper charts on waterproof, tearproof, synthetic paper. Since then WATERPROOF CHARTS have been constantly refined and revised. New editions are easier to read, handle, fold andstore. GPS and Loran waypoints are printed directly on the chart, making it easy to set up your electronics. All editions now have information on free updates.

FISH/DIVE CHARTS - Identified by the Blue Title Block and the suffix “F” following the chart edition number, these charts combine the elements of navigation quality nautical charts with information critical to fishermen. Carefully and accurately plotted on each chart are dozens, often hundreds of proven positions for reefs, wrecks and other fish holding features. Each position is numbered and indexed . Loran & GPS position information is provided to guide you accurately to the sites. Some Fish/ Dive Charts include additional information such as emphasized bottom contour lines, extra Loran position lines and supplemental bottom information.

LARGE PRINT CHARTS -Identified by the Green Title Block and the Suffix "E" following the chart edition number, ISS began making LARGE PRINT WATERPROOF CHARTS IN 1989. Not only do these special editions have much larger print but they combine other features which make them much easier to read and use. Larger, clearer “place names” make your destinations easier to find. Bright colors help you identify water depth and GPS Waypoints make it easy to set up your electronics.

BACKWATER CHARTS - developed in 2001 with the help of several Waterproof Chart retailers, BackWater Charts meet the need of the small boat owner and those using electronic charting and plotters on-board. Rigid and easy to hold and use, the smaller format (121/2"x19") is very convienient yet does not have the drawbacks (glare and delamination) of available laminated charts. The paper is similar to that used on all Waterproof Charts but in a much heavier-thicker version which makes it rigid - yet still waterproof and tearproof. Areas of coverage were carefully chosen to make the most of the smaller size. As the primary chart for a day of boating or a back-up to an on-board plotter, the economical BackWater Charts are the perfect solution.

BACKWATER CHARTKITS - combine BackWater Charts in a spiral bound - easy to use book at great savings.
