How do I search for a business listing?
Link below the logo at the top of the page labelled "Directory".
You can type a word,
phrase, or even just part of a word into the Search box. Click on the Search button to see
the search results.
The Search results are organized into three parts. First, a list
of Featured Listings that matched your search text appear. A featured listing will match your search
text if the text appears in the listing's Featured Description, Business Name, or the text that makes up the
titles and paragraphs in the body of the listing.
The second section of search results shows all listings that matched your search.
A listing will match your search text if the text appear in the listing's Business Name or the text of the
titles and paragraphs in the body of the listing.
The third portion of the Search results are links to any categories that have the
search text in the name of the category or in the description of the category.
Click on any of the category links in order to see a page of links to listings
in the category that you chose.
Search results are designed so that when you click on any of the links in the results,
the listing or category linked to is displayed in a new browser window. Search results
are preserved in the window that they appear in, rather than being replaced by your click.
This makes it easy to compare different listings
and categories in the results, because each appears in its own window.
There are two advanced search buttons that give added flexibility to searches.
You can choose to search for listings and categories that have all of your search words,
but in any order. There is also an option to search for listings and categories that have any of your search words,
but not necessarily all of them.
